I've always had a fascination with other people's makeup bags. I don't know why, but nothing gives me more joy than delving through the makeup people decide to put on their face up everyday.
Just information technology wasn't until I found out that Lady Gaga wore £642 worth of makeup on her face for that Superbowl performance, that I wondered only how much my everyday confront costs.
So of course I roped in the rest of the Cosmopolitan squad (and their makeup numberless) to work out just how much our everyday makeup really costs.

Having said that, I'm equally terrified of looking like Shirley from EastEnders as I am of wasting money on makeup, so mayhap I'll invest in a spenny palette that does everything at some bespeak. "Well, this is embarrassing isn't information technology. Believe me when I say I'm genuinely embarrassed that my makeup pocketbook contains more money than my bodily bank account correct now (when is pay day?). I've ever been a petty bit extra when it comes to my makeup (I used to save upwardly my paper circular wages when I was 14 and purchase Versace lip glosses...I know). Luckily a huge perk of my chore now is receiving makeup to review, which ways I don't spend half every bit much as I used to on the stuff. "If I knew how to do my brand upwards more than two different ways (ane with eyeliner, ane without) so I'd probably spend a lot more than. But lucky/unlucky for me, I don't – no matter how many YouTube tutorials I watch.
The three things I always buy are the No. 7 loose powder, the Max factor mascara and the Maybelline foundation, all of which toll around the £10 mark. Apart from that, things similar blusher, eyeliner and eyeshadow are interchangeable. It basically just depends what's in the Cosmo beauty closet/Boots deal bucket on the twenty-four hour period."
