How to depict a crown: base sketch footstep past step
Step 1 : Describe the guidelines
Let's start drawing the crown with a few guidelines. Depict 2 parallel curves - these will mark the crown's headband. Then add iii vertical straight lines going upward - these will guide us in cartoon the crown peaks.
Stride 2 : Shut the band and add together the round tops
Close the crown band's sides with two small curves. Then describe iii pocket-sized circles on the top of the lines - these will exist the uncomplicated decorations on the peak of the crown. If you experience circles are besides simple and would like a challenge, many real imperial crowns would have fleur-de-lis as a decorative end.
Pace three : Draw the crown peaks
It is at present time to draw the actual crown. Draw curved "V" shapes between the three circles. Find that the "Vs" starting time where the straight guideline intersects the summit circle on the outer sides, but are a touch on autonomously on the center height. Then add together two more direct lines down along the outer sides - these are as far apart from the existing down line as the sides of the middle line.
Step 4 : Depict the velvet hat
Many royal crowns are lined with a velvet hat - that is what we are drawing side by side. Depict it as a simple two-function curve - starting in the centre of the middle circumvolve, and curving out only a bit by each side of the crown. And so close the hat with two sides curving back to the crown base of operations. Finally, add the lower end of the headband. If you were adding the crown to the king's caput, y'all would non need this line - but here it is visible.
Footstep 5 : Add some jewels
Our base of operations crown drawing is complete, all that is left is to add some decorative jewels. These can come in many shapes. Here we are decorating the headband with iii circles and two hexagons between them. And so we are adding one more hexagon as on the heart pinnacle, and ii half domes on the sides. Feel complimentary to add some more jewels, perhaps smaller or other shapes - squares or rectangles - to brand your crown pretty.
